There are several advanced options for the profile you can set.  When you select Custom setup, there are several copy modes you can choose from to define how you would like to copy files such as Simple Copy, Exact Copy, Compress, Synchronize, etc.  The copy mode can be selected from the "How?" tab of the profile's properties.
