Second Copy Guestbook

Comments:
I agree with all the previous comments up until recently, but now I can't open Second Copy. I delete it, reinstall it and it opens the first time. After that, when I click on the icon there is no response . . . no matter how I try to open it. Then I was definitely concerned when I found that there is no way to get in touch with a support service. Therefore, I decided that I would try the guestbook. Let's see if I get a response this way.

I have been using this program forever to automatically back up data files on a number of pc's at my home. My wife is a composer and has never lost a byte in 12+ years thanks to SC. Five stars

I could not find a way to contact you, so I'll ask my question here. We are a Texas School District. Do you offer a site license option?

Thank You,
Rick Seymour

the ask a question feature on your web site is broken and no support email adress is listed!!! so forgive me I will ask my question here:

Can second copy sync a local folder to a Sharepoint workspace on the local machine? If so how? if not will this be avialabe in the futrue? It seems to me that SharePoint MS365 does not sync directly to a local folder, which is what I would really like to do!! can't be that hard
cheers Tom S :!cool:

Further:
I just did an "integrity test on the basic processes & it passed with flying colors for all of my specific needs.

Had one Windows Explorers open to source and one to target.
1. Changed a file name in source, 4-5 seconds it appeared on target.
2. Pasted a file to source, saw it on target drive in 4 seconds.
3. Deleted a file on source drive and it appeared on target in 4 seconds.
4. also checked file change area and the deleted file was still there as it should be - the number of versions of file changes I set sure beats Recycle bin.
I admit to an SSD source drive and high speed USB3 target drive, but I'm sure results would be good on any medium as the process is solid.

It is doing exactly what I need to happen.

Ralph

Just wanted to thank you for your prompt attention to my support questions. I understand the process in question now.

What makes this program so desirable to me is that it can be set to do "literal" (folders / files) backup. I'm not into what most offer, compressed gobbledygook that is difficult to find a file or folder in to recover - I want to see the actual folders and files on the target.
and on to more than one process and drives at a time.

Thanks Guys!! ... Ralph

Thank you to the Second Copy "Team" for quickly fixing minor bugs in French and German version of the software. Software works perfectly in all languages. Keep the good work. - Mike

Hi Second Copy team, I love your software! I have been using for years and it is without a doubt "best in class".

However, a suggestion. It would be nice to be able to individually suspend profiles (right now you can only suspend everything or nothing). That way, if a device that is set to automatic backup is not connected to the computer, you don't have to see the annoying error messages pop up - you can just disable the profiles without having to go through the rigamarole of changing the "When" of the backup properties.
