Hi.
I have tested the evaluation version and find it very useful, but i am missing a very useful option. I have some 8TB data that I do backup on to a another computer on the network. This computer is in hibernate for the most time. I have to use Wake on Lan before i can use Second Copy. I use a separate command to start up the net computer. Is there any chance you could add an option to wake up computers in Second Copy?

Second Copy is some grand fine 
software for backing up all of the porn throughout all of my hard * * * drives and all of the other less important files too 
like IRS documents, paychecks, family birthdays, address files, and other stuff that people use. I would recommend this to any purveyor of porn if your collection is as valuable as mine is and !!! that you can legally make backup copies but cannot freely download second copies of the videos without paying an additional fee like sometimes can be full video price. Second Copy can do all that and probably a lot more that I am too busy to learn about. Have a good day and buy this kick * * * software if you need it as bad as I do! BTW I am the super attractive Karl Winter that those in 'the business' all know and love--and remember, anyone that says beauty is all on the inside is a lying sack of potatoes! Beauty is only skin deep and therefore, I WIN!!!

I have used second copy for years and it has always performed flawlessly! A wonderfully simple, efficient, flexible and inexpensive tool. Alas, I had to move to a Macbook and no second copy! Bummer! Wish you were here...

I have always loved Second Copy. I have just downloaded the latest version 8.1.013 and there are some problems during the installation. Never had that problem with previous version. On of the best programme for personal use and for a home network.

I'm agree with Lars, Run as service in Windows 7 and Server 2008 / 2012, is a good feature to develop in future versions.
Howeber, Second Coypy is a good choice lika a simple backup option. Simple and easy to understannd.

We have used Second copy for many years and it has worked well and saved us on a number of occasions.
We updgraded to v8 and it looks fine. However the email notifications has some issues and needs testing/fixing as it gets very confused when using Exchange Server 2007.

I love your program and the trial version does everything I wanted. There's one setting that frustrates me and killed some original data that I did not want removed. In Profile -> How? -> Advanced Properties, "Delete empty folders after copy". I thought this would only delete the empty folders on the backup drive, but it removed them from the source as well.
Fix: Break it up into two the delete the source folders and one to delete the dest folders. That way I could decide to remove the source/destination, or both empty directories.
Feature request: A way to tell if a file was only renamed, so the whole large file does not need to be deleted(old name) from the destination and the new file (only renamed old file) recopied over. I know this is a much trickier problem than what it appears to be on the surface.
